ELECTRIC BIKES
How long will the battery last?

On average our Premium E-bikes will allow 50 miles or more of travel on a single charge. Amusing you utilized all of the assistance modes . With true ride-anywhere range, go up to 62 miles (100 km) or 4.5 hours of range (eco mode).

Our Adventure E-Bikes are can be configured to Class 1 (cadence sensing pedal assist), 2, or 3 (twist throttle). Minimum Range: 25 Miles (40 Kilometers). Maximum Range: 50 miles (80 Kilometers).

Can I take the bike to other islands?

Yes. Many guests rent bikes and head over to Lopez, Orcas, and Shaw Island. All the islands are great for cycling. We’re happy to provide recommended cycling routes on all of the San Juan Islands.

What if I get a flat tire?

All bike rentals include a flat tire repair kit. We offer road side assistance if needed to keep you having a get day exploring the island.

What bike should I rent?

General

All of our bikes are geared appropriately for the roads around the San Juan Islands. Your choice of bikes includes E-Bikes: Premium or Adventure and sporty lightweight fitness hybrid (Specialized Sirrus) and road bikes (Fuji Roubaix), and we also offer kids bikes, trailers, etc…

Our Premium E-Bike’s have a more natural ride feel. Comfortable, upright, and great for rides up to 60 miles.

Adventure E-Bikes have a small wide tires that allow for a smooth stable ride, a low step frame, and upright riding position. The range averages around 25-30 miles since its hard to resist going fast.

Fitness hybrids and road bikes are for people who are more accustomed to leaning forward while riding and are experienced with a wider selection of gears.

Can I take the bike to other islands?

What happens if I get a flat tire?

All bike rentals include a flat tire repair kit. We offer road side assistance if needed to keep you having a get day exploring the island. We strongly recommend that you always carry a cell phone when you ride as well as the phone number of the rental location. Should you have a mechanical problem, stop riding and move to a safe location before using your phone. Contact the rental location for further instructions.

What size bike should I reserve?

The sizing chart is for guidance and is not guaranteed to be accurate for all persons. All bikes have adjustable seat posts. People on the higher or lower end of a height range might fit multiple-sized bikes. Annotated below are possible height to size ranges.

Should I reserve a bike in advance

Our booking site provides live availability. We recommend reserving a bike ahead of time to ensure an item is held specifically for you in the correct size , and helps us better serve you when you arrive by often speeding up the checkout process.

CAN I WALK TO YOUR SHOP? DO YOU HAVE PARKING ONSITE?

We are a 15 minute walk from the ferry in Friday Harbor. Take Spring Street a few blocks to the traffic circle, take a left (Argyle Ave.), continue for 0.5 mile and we are on the right across from the Fairgrounds. You’ll see our cut flower stand by the roadside. We offer parking at our rental storefront (845 Argyle Ave., Friday Harbor, WA) a 5 minute drive from downtown Friday Harbor.

DO YOU DELIVER AND COLLECT RENTAL BIKES?

Yes – we deliver and collect bikes on San Juan Island. Choose delivery in the checkout to specify your delivery location.

Delivery fees are inclusive of up to 5 bikes per trip.
